As we approach an exciting milestone in the life of our church, the payoff of our building mortgage, we have an opportunity to celebrate through stewardship. God blessed us with a beautiful facility that supports worship, connection, service, and growth. We are organizing a ‘Summer Building Reset’ to help ensure that our church home remains welcoming, functional, and well-cared for years to come.

We are inviting volunteers of all skill levels to join us as we work together to refresh and maintain our facility. Whether you have experience with painting and repairs or simply a willingness to serve, there is a place for you. Many of these projects require only basic skills, and guidance will be available.

By researching Hebrew/Greek roots, comparing translations, and examining cross-references, this technique helps uncover deeper spiritual truths and fosters personal, actionable engagement with Scripture. Tuesdays: June 23-July 14, 6pm at CUMC

The Chosen Season 3 centers on the emotional and spiritual toll of ministry, following the Sermon on the Mount, as Jesus sends his twelve disciples out two-by-two. The season deals with intense themes like marital strain, miscarriage, and political tension, culminating in the feeding of the 5,000 and Jesus walking on water. Led by Vicki Morley and Roger Woods.

Mondays: July 6-August 24, 6-8pm via Zoom

An 8-session course for anyone who feels called to lead, serve, or grow in faith. Designed for both current and emerging leaders, it combines practical leadership skills with spiritual growth and real-life application. Participants will deepen their relationship with God, build confidence in leadership, and connect with others on a similar journey. The course meets Certified Lay Servant requirements and can be a next step toward further lay ministry. Offered online via Zoom with a final in-person gathering. Cost is $25. Led by Michelle Williams.
