SERVE Housing
Blessed to serve
Blessed to Serve is a ministry in our church to assist with minor home repair projects that improve the quality of life for those in our community. Projects may include painting, minor home repairs, raking or yard work, adding safety features, and more. Requests from elderly and low-income persons will be prioritized. Projects should take 4-6 hours. To learn more and complete an application, or volunteer to help with the repairs, contact Bill Yufer,

refugees
In summer 2021, refugees from Afghanistan started to arrive in the Carlisle area and together this community settled 113 people in the greater Carlisle region. This also ignited a partnership with a new Church World Service office in Carlisle to help resettle refugees from Afghanistan, Ukraine, and other countries. We are currently building a team to support a new refugee family in spring/summer 2024. To learn more about how you can help welcome and support this family in Carlisle, contact Cheryl Hale,
domestic violence services

Lunch is provided monthly for 20-30 adults and children. This team also provides Easter baskets for the kids and Mother's Day presents for moms receiving services. Team is coordinated by Mary Seaton,
