BIA - Dickinson Campus Trout Gallery Tour

Join our Believers in Action (BIA) group for a guided tour of the exhibits currently on at the Trout Gallery on Dickinson Campus at 240 West High St. Carlisle, PA 17013. The BIA group will meet in the CUMC parking lot at 9:40am to carpool to the Trout Gallery. The tour includes the Two Centuries of Black American Art exhibition celebrating the legacy of David Driskell's groundbreaking 1976 exhibition, which provided audiences with a remarkably comprehensive survey of ignificant works, broke cultural barriers and had an enduring impact on generations of artists. The William Gropper's America; Its Folklore exhibition includes one mythological man from Gropper's American Folklore Series- Joe Magarac of Pittsburgh, who could bend steel with his bare hands- other works on display provida a broader picture of Gropper's America.
