Join Moving Circles and Believers in Action (BiA) on Tuesday, November 12, 7pm in the CUMC Worship Center for a special viewing and discussion of Keystones Oral Histories' documentary on the underground railroad in South Central Pennsylvania. Bryan Wade, CEO, and founder of Keystones Oral Histories and native of Harrisburg, PA, a former York educator, government official, and television talk show host with 20 years of radio, television, and documentary production experience. This documentary, part of a series of 15 documentaries, provides an overview of the collaboration between abolitionists and Underground Railroad Station masters in York, Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, and Lancaster counties. It highlights the path to freedom and the perils for abolitionists and station masters who provided refuge and safe passage for freedome seekers.
