Hello! My name is Kayla Russell. I am the Director of Little Lights Learning Center of Carlisle United Methodist Church. I am an Army Veteran; I love my country and am very patriotic! I have been in the field of education for over 25 years. I have taught many children throughout my career, and have loved every minute of it. I have lived in Pennsylvania for 19 years; 16 of which have been in Shippensburg. I grew up and went to college in Ohio. That is also where I met the love of my life, my husband Jeff. We have 2 children, a daughter Jensen and a son, Jeffrey. We also have 3 beautiful granddaughters. My daughter's 2 girls, Aliyah who is 5, and Ivy who is 9 months. My son and his fiancee Jacelyn's daughter, Everly who is a year and 4 months old. My family is my entire life. I also work in Gettysburg for the Farnsworth House where I am a Group Sales Manager, Housekeeping Manager, and Storyteller. I absolutely love history. I am so happy to be a part of the Little Lights family, and hope to have many wonderful years here.
